$38.2 MILLION and Counting.....

In a moving ceremony in April 2008 that passed the torch to the community to help raise the balance of the funds required to build the Regional Cancer Program, Southlake launched the final phase of the $60 million "Southlake...count on me" campaign.  Incredibly and in less than two years, the campaign has already raised $38.2 million, mostly through major gifts from individuals and corporations.

Nowhere was the community's support more clear than in the spectrum of people who participated in the community campaign launch event.  Mayors from five of the communities to be served by the Regional Cancer Program, campaign volunteers and cancer survivors, fundraising event organisers including our own Aurora Mardi Gras Committee were there to launch the community phase of the campaign.

 THE AURORA MARDI GRAS COMMITTEE HAS COMMITTED TO RAISING $75,000 THROUGH THEIR EFFORTS FOR THE

REGIONAL CANCER PROGRAM AT SOUTHLAKE.
